Frida. 

Born and raised in Chicago, I spent my formative years attending a fine arts elementary school where drama, dance, music and visual arts were incorporated into our daily curriculum. As a child who was often lost in my imagination, discovering ways to channel my creativity became the basis for who I am today.

I continued my education in the arts by taking college level fine arts classes & theater workshops in high school and then by studying Studio Art at the University of Illinois at Chicago. ​​​

Over the years art and activism has continued to find it's way into my life. I've found inspiration in the passion and activism of others, and my own. That attraction continues to guide my choices. As a professional, I seek out projects, and pursue community where values are centered.
