Frida.

[In a nutshell]

Born and raised in Chicago, I spent my formative years attending a fine arts elementary school where drama, dance, music and visual arts were incorporated into our daily curriculum. As a child who was often lost in my imagination, discovering ways to channel my creativity became the basis for who I am today.

I continued my education in the arts by taking college level fine arts classes & theater workshops in high school and then by studying Studio Art at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

After college I took some time to travel around the world and engaged in social activism. I protested at Standing Rock, marched in DC for Women's Reproductive Rights and BLM and lived in a feminist squat in Berlin. My beliefs and experiences strongly shape the way I move through the world and inform the sort of projects I wish to be a part of.
